Not every access point at the BERNEXPO AG requires the maximum level of security. Access to the offices, for example, need not be as heavily monitored as the outer perimeter of the building. Securiton has developed an access concept ensuring that each access point is equipped to match the exact level of security required. The entrances on the outer perimeter are equipped with four online readers. Indoors, where offices, technical facilities and other rooms are housed, 400 SEA offline fittings and mechatronic cylinders are deployed. In addition, 45 Dorma TL-G escape door terminals are installed. Securiton realised the complete solution with its Partner Delbag. The advantage for BERNEXPO AG here is that all mechanical, mechatronic and electronic components as well as the SecuriGate Access control system are from a single source.

All components of the locking system are integrated into SecuriGate and are conveniently managed with its intelligent software. Thanks to SecuriGate’s diversity of technology and hardware, each and every access point can be appropriately equipped. The system emplaces RFIDs, SmartCards, PINs etc. and integrates mechanical and mechatronic locking components via the Vi-NET virtual network. For the later, Securiton installed four VNT terminals at BERNEXPO AG. Serving as read, write and access terminals, they comprise the interface between the mechatronic components and the overall system. The SecuriGate access control system regulates access to each individual room – precisely, reliably and with a minimum of effort on the part of administrators and employees.
