Baga Tenger

Hundreds of children learn and play safely under Securiton systems.

On the outskirts of the Mongolian capital, in a green area known as Bogd Khan Mountain, lies Baga Tenger International School and Kindergarten, a veritable campus for nearly 800 children. Baga Tenger comprises a secondary school for 650 children and a kindergarten with a capacity of 120 children on a total area of 12,651 square metres.

With the aim of creating a healthy and safe environment close to nature, the school also needed an advanced fire alarm system for the various buildings on the campus: the school and kindergarten building has an art hall, a sports hall, 46 classrooms, a professional teaching laboratory, a training area, a cafeteria and a leisure area. These are now protected by a SecuriFire B5-SCP3020 fire alarm control panel, which is connected to 346 combined smoke and heat detectors, 34 manual call points and siren detectors installed in the classrooms. In addition, two CLI control centres were installed in the art gallery and the gymnasium, which are equipped with 8 SecuriBeam ILIA linear infra-red smoke detectors. These in turn are connected to the SCP3020 via XLM. They are controlled via the Alvis software.
